Each kit that I prepare contains complete instructions, a hoop, rug binding, a hand drawn pattern on burlap, and beautiful pre-washed uncut wools.

My incredible supply of various textures, tweeds, plaids and hand-dyed old and new woolens ensure that each kit is completely UNIQUE. Your finished hooking project will be an original piece of art!

Wool fabrics are easily cut by hand with scissors, as our ancestors did! Simply cut parallel to a torn edge so that the 1/8-1/4 inch wide strips follow the straight grain of the weave. I like to cut heavy weight wools a little narrower (1/8") and lightweight wools a little wider (1/4").

Not only is hand cutting more traditional, but it allows you to "custom cut" each little strip for the place it will be used in your design.
